Elpis Community Development Initiative (formerly known as Aurelius Haven Foundation) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) that has been addressing socio-economic challenges faced by Nigerian communities since 2012. Originating in Lagos, Nigeria, it was re-registered in 2023 under its current name Elpis Community Development Initiative as part of its evolution process as its operations expanded across the continent into Europe. ELPIS is committed to empowering individuals, fostering grassroots development, and supporting Nigerian communities globally. Our mission centers on promoting sustainable development systems that positively impacts the Nigerian Economy.

Elpis Community Development Initiative is also deeply committed to community empowerment, educational advancement, and sustainable development initiatives between the United Kingdom, Nigeria, and wider international communities. In the UK, the organisation focuses on developing scholarship opportunities, educational partnerships, youth and women empowerment programmes, community outreach, and international collaboration projects aimed at supporting social and economic development. Elpis also works to build strategic partnerships with institutions, community organisations, and stakeholders to promote access to education, skills development, and long-term community sustainability.
